# Disable Core Isolation

*Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) is a Windows security feature that uses virtualization to block unsigned drivers. Many of our products cannot inject while it is enabled.*

**Disable this if:**

* Your loader shows a **virtualization / VBS / Hyper-V** related error
* Injection fails silently even though Defender is disabled
* A product guide's setup or troubleshooting steps sent you here

## Method 1: Windows Security Settings

### Open Core Isolation Settings

1. Search **"Core Isolation"** in your Windows search bar and open it

   *(or go to **Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details**)*

### Turn Off Memory Integrity

1. Set the **Memory integrity** toggle to **Off**
2. If Windows asks for confirmation, accept it

### Restart Your PC

Restart your system — the change does not take effect until after a reboot.

## Method 2: Registry (If the Toggle Is Greyed Out or Turns Itself Back On)

### Open the Registry Editor

1. Press **Windows + R**
2. Type: `regedit` and hit **Enter**

### Navigate to the HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity Key

In the top address bar, paste the following and hit **Enter**:

```
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity
```

### Set Enabled to 0

1. Double-click **`Enabled`**
2. Change the value to `0`
3. Click **OK**

### Restart Your PC

After the restart, Memory Integrity will be off.

**To re-enable it later**, turn the Memory integrity toggle back **On** in Core Isolation settings (or set the registry value back to `1`) and restart your PC.
