# DX9WARE

#### This Document will guide you through the setup of **DX9WARE**

This guide is divided into easy-to-follow sections to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

### Getting Started

Windows Defender will flag or delete the loader, so fully disable it **before** downloading anything.

First, turn off real-time protection so Defender doesn't delete DControl while you download it:

1. Search **"Virus & threat protection"** in your Windows search bar
2. Click **Manage settings**
3. Disable **all** settings here — including **Real-time protection**, **Cloud-delivered protection**, **Automatic sample submission**, and **Tamper Protection** (scroll down)

Then permanently disable Defender with **DControl**:

1. Download [DControl](https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=1tdso9fRwyVSartgvtIIrRtXarse3qsvi\&export=download\&authuser=0) (extraction password: **sordum**)
2. Extract the `.zip` — use [WinRAR](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) if needed
3. Right-click **`dControl.exe`** → select **Run as administrator**
4. Click **Disable Windows Defender** — the window turns **red** when Defender is off

<summary>Why DControl?</summary>

The settings you disabled in the first step turn themselves back on when you restart your computer. DControl completely disables Windows Defender so it **stays off** after a restart — without it, you would have to repeat these steps every time you want to use the cheat.

### Remove Other Anti-Cheats

Uninstall the following if installed:

* **FACEIT Anti-Cheat**
* **Vanguard** (Valorant Anti-Cheat)

### Installing Required Files

These files are required for the cheat to operate correctly:

1. **Visual C++ Runtimes** — [download the All-in-One package](https://mega.nz/folder/WlQD0YyZ#raWJkl7EoGkmcpeHbIBLmw), extract it, then right-click **`install_all.bat`** → **Run as administrator**
2. **DirectX** — [download the DirectX End-User Runtime](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and run **`dxwebsetup.exe`**

### Download Loader

* Create a new account by filling in the required information.
* Redeem your license key
* Click **Download**. The download will start automatically.

**Injection Process**

**Download Loader**

1. Once the loader is downloaded, run it as administrator.
2. Sign in and follow the loader prompts.
3. Once done, open the game.\
   Enjoy!

## Having Troubles?

<summary><strong>Failed to load driver — Error C0000603</strong></summary>

Follow all the steps in the **initial setup guide** above.

<details>

<summary><strong>Infinite loading (stuck on loading screen)</strong></summary>

**Fix #1 — Channel:**

1. Uninstall ROBLOX completely
2. Download **Fishstrap**
3. Configure Fishstrap Deployment settings to **production**
4. Launch ROBLOX through Fishstrap going forward

**Fix #2 — Stuck ROBLOX process:**

Restart your PC, or open **Task Manager**, terminate any Roblox processes, and retry.

<details>

<summary><strong>VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found</strong></summary>

Download and install the **Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 redistributable** from the Microsoft website. Install **both x86 and x64** redistributables.

<details>

<summary><strong>Failed to load driver — Error C000009A</strong></summary>

Find and **disable or uninstall FACEIT Anti-Cheat** — it's the most common cause of this error.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Failed to load driver — Error C0000022</strong></summary>

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator
2. Run:

   ```
   sc stop vgk
   ```

   This disables Vanguard anti-cheat.

<details>

<summary><strong>overlay.exe — Bad Image</strong></summary>

Manually download and install the **DirectX Runtimes** from the Microsoft website.

<details>

<summary><strong>Yellow screen</strong></summary>

1. Open **msconfig** → Services tab
2. Check **"Hide all Microsoft services"**
3. Click **Disable all**
4. Click **Apply**
5. Restart your computer and retry

<summary><strong>[\\.\Nal] Driver is already running</strong></summary>

Restart your computer and retry.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>"This app can't run on your PC"</strong></summary>

1. Verify dx9ware exclusions are added (see the initial setup guide)
2. Restart your computer
3. If still unresolved, uninstall third-party antivirus programs: **Malwarebytes, AVAST, Norton 360, McAfee, Bitdefender, Kaspersky**

<summary><strong>Could not find PiDDB lock</strong></summary>

Uninstall **Kaspersky** antivirus.
