# Caruso (DMA)

#### This Document will guide you through the setup of Caruso

This guide is divided into easy-to-follow sections to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

### Getting Started

Windows Defender will flag or delete the loader, so fully disable it **before** downloading anything.

First, turn off real-time protection so Defender doesn't delete DControl while you download it:

1. Search **"Virus & threat protection"** in your Windows search bar
2. Click **Manage settings**
3. Disable **all** settings here — including **Real-time protection**, **Cloud-delivered protection**, **Automatic sample submission**, and **Tamper Protection** (scroll down)

Then permanently disable Defender with **DControl**:

1. Download [DControl](https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=1tdso9fRwyVSartgvtIIrRtXarse3qsvi\&export=download\&authuser=0) (extraction password: **sordum**)
2. Extract the `.zip` — use [WinRAR](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) if needed
3. Right-click **`dControl.exe`** → select **Run as administrator**
4. Click **Disable Windows Defender** — the window turns **red** when Defender is off

<summary>Why DControl?</summary>

The settings you disabled in the first step turn themselves back on when you restart your computer. DControl completely disables Windows Defender so it **stays off** after a restart — without it, you would have to repeat these steps every time you want to use the cheat.

### Remove Other Anti-Cheats

Uninstall the following if installed:

* **FACEIT Anti-Cheat**
* **Vanguard** (Valorant Anti-Cheat)

### Installing Required Files

These files are required for the cheat to operate correctly:

1. **Visual C++ Runtimes** — [download the All-in-One package](https://mega.nz/folder/WlQD0YyZ#raWJkl7EoGkmcpeHbIBLmw), extract it, then right-click **`install_all.bat`** → **Run as administrator**
2. **DirectX** — [download the DirectX End-User Runtime](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and run **`dxwebsetup.exe`**

### Create Your Account

<a href="https://auth.caruso.top/" class="button primary" data-icon="user-plus">Register at auth.caruso.top</a>

1. Visit [auth.caruso.top](https://auth.caruso.top/) and create a new account by filling in the required information
2. Check your inbox for a **verification email** and click the confirmation link to activate your account
3. Once verified, you'll be prompted to choose your **username** — pick something memorable, this will be your identity on the platform

### Activate Your Subscription

1. Navigate to [caruso.top](https://caruso.top/) and make sure you're logged in
2. Click on your **username** in the top-right corner of the page — a dropdown menu will appear
3. Click **Redeem** from the dropdown menu
4. Paste the license key you received from your reseller and confirm — your subscription will be activated immediately

### Download the Loader

Once your subscription is active, you're ready to download the loader.

1. Click on your **username** in the top-right corner of [caruso.top](https://caruso.top/)
2. Select **Download Loader** from the dropdown menu — the download will start automatically

The file may take a few seconds to download due to its size.

**Loader didn't open, or the file disappeared after downloading?** Windows Defender is not fully disabled — go back to the **Getting Started** step.

### Launch and Play

1. **Start the Game** — open Rainbow Six Siege on your **main PC**
2. **Open the Menu** — on your main PC, open [dash.caruso.top](https://dash.caruso.top/) in your browser to access the menu![Menu Preview](https://help.caruso.top/images/menu.png)
3. **Run the Loader** — on your **radar PC**, open the loader you just downloaded
4. **Log In** — enter your email to authenticate
5. **Load** — click **Load** and wait for the overlay to appear

You're all set — time to dominate every lobby!

## Having Troubles?

<details>

<summary><strong>Time sync issue — loader crashes, generic "Error" on login, or authentication failure</strong></summary>

This is caused by your system clock being out of sync. Symptoms include:

* Loader closes immediately without showing any error message
* Login fails showing only **"Error"** with no further details
* Authentication fails even though your credentials are correct

**Fix:**

1. Right-click the clock in your taskbar → **Adjust date/time**
2. Make sure **Set time automatically** is enabled
3. Click **Sync now**
4. Verify the displayed time is correct and that the sync was successful
5. Close the loader completely and reopen it

If the issue persists after syncing, restart your computer before reopening the loader.

<summary><strong>Error containing "FS" or "QB"</strong></summary>

1. Restart both your **main PC** and your **radar PC**
2. Once Rainbow Six Siege is loaded, inject while you're in the **main menu**

**If the error persists**, this is a QB-related issue that requires developer attention. You will need to upload your game executable so Caruso can fix it:

1. Launch Rainbow Six Siege and wait until you're on the main menu
2. While the game is running, open **Task Manager** (`Ctrl + Shift + Esc`)
3. In the **Processes** tab, find **RainbowSixSiege**, right-click on it and select **Open file location**
4. The file explorer will open with **`RainbowSix.exe`** highlighted — upload that file via the Caruso support upload link
5. Open a ticket in the Caruso Discord support channel and let them know you've submitted your QB file

<details>

<summary><strong>D3DCompiler.dll not found / D3DCompiler_47.dll is missing</strong></summary>

This error occurs when your system is missing required DirectX components.

1. Download the **DirectX End-User Runtime** from Microsoft: [click here](/troubleshooting/common-fixes/install-directx.md)
2. Run the installer and follow the prompts
3. Open the loader and try again
4. If it still doesn't work, restart your PC

If the error persists after installing DirectX, run **Windows Update** to make sure all system components are up to date.

<details>

<summary><strong>Failed to INIT Keyboard</strong></summary>

This error requires developer assistance. You need to send Caruso specific system files from your **main PC**.

1. On your main PC, press `Win + R`, type `C:\Windows\System32` and press Enter
2. Locate and copy these three files (use the search bar in the folder to find them quickly):
   * `win32ksgd.sys`
   * `win32k.sys`
   * `win32kbase.sys`
3. Join the Caruso Discord server and open a support ticket
4. Upload the three files in your ticket and wait for assistance

<details>

<summary><strong>Overlay opens but closes by itself after a few seconds</strong></summary>

Usually caused by Windows Defender or exclusive-mode compatibility problems.

**Step 1 — Disable Windows Defender**

Make sure Windows Defender is completely disabled (see the **Getting Started** step above for the DControl setup).

**Step 2 — Load in Borderless Mode**

If the overlay still keeps crashing, exclusive mode is incompatible. Force borderless:

1. Launch the loader and log in with your email
2. Click **Load**, then **immediately switch focus to another window** (e.g. File Explorer) — do this before the overlay opens
3. Wait for the overlay to open while your focus is on the other window
4. Verify the overlay is running in **Borderless** mode
5. Close the other window (File Explorer) and click on the overlay with your left mouse button to give it focus
6. Press `Alt + Tab` twice to try switching to **Exclusive** mode
   * If the overlay crashes → keep it in Borderless mode
   * If it doesn't crash → you're good to go in Exclusive mode

Some systems are not compatible with exclusive mode. If the overlay crashes when switching, just use borderless mode.
