# TZX External

#### This Document will guide you through the setup of **TZX External**

This guide is divided into easy-to-follow sections to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

### Getting Started

Windows Defender will flag or delete the loader, so fully disable it **before** downloading anything.

First, turn off real-time protection so Defender doesn't delete DControl while you download it:

1. Search **"Virus & threat protection"** in your Windows search bar
2. Click **Manage settings**
3. Disable **all** settings here — including **Real-time protection**, **Cloud-delivered protection**, **Automatic sample submission**, and **Tamper Protection** (scroll down)

Then permanently disable Defender with **DControl**:

1. Download [DControl](https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=1tdso9fRwyVSartgvtIIrRtXarse3qsvi\&export=download\&authuser=0) (extraction password: **sordum**)
2. Extract the `.zip` — use [WinRAR](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) if needed
3. Right-click **`dControl.exe`** → select **Run as administrator**
4. Click **Disable Windows Defender** — the window turns **red** when Defender is off

<summary>Why DControl?</summary>

The settings you disabled in the first step turn themselves back on when you restart your computer. DControl completely disables Windows Defender so it **stays off** after a restart — without it, you would have to repeat these steps every time you want to use the cheat.

### Remove Other Anti-cheats

Uninstall the following if installed:

* **FACEIT Anti-Cheat**
* **Vanguard** (Valorant Anti-Cheat)

### Installing Required Files

These files are required for the cheat to operate correctly:

1. **Visual C++ Runtimes** — [download the All-in-One package](https://mega.nz/folder/WlQD0YyZ#raWJkl7EoGkmcpeHbIBLmw), extract it, then right-click **`install_all.bat`** → **Run as administrator**
2. **DirectX** — [download the DirectX End-User Runtime](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and run **`dxwebsetup.exe`**

### Download and set-up SteelSeries

[SteelSeries](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar) is required for the cheat to function. Please download and install [SteelSeries](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar) by clicking [here](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar).

**Close All Games and Launchers**

Before proceeding:

* Close all games and launchers (**Steam, Origin, Battle.net**, etc.)
* Disable all overlays:
  * Discord
  * GeForce Experience
  * MSI Afterburner
  * MedalTV
  * Any other background overlays

### Download Loader

* Visit the [**tzproject.com**](https://tzproject.com/) website and register an account.
* Once logged in, navigate to the **Redeem Code** page on your Account Dashboard

### Injection Process

**Step-by-Step Injection**

1. Once you've activated your key, refresh the page and you will see a Download button appear on the dashboard.
2. Once downloaded, simply run the loader. Enjoy!

**To reduce the risk of your account and HWID being banned**, it is highly recommended to use an HWID spoofer.

## Having Troubles?

Enable **V-Sync** on TZ / TZX.

<summary><strong>"FiveM Needs To Restart"</strong></summary>

1. Right-click the FiveM launcher
2. Press **Open file location**
3. Make a new shortcut from `Fivem.exe` and drag it to your desktop
4. Right-click the new shortcut and select **Properties**
5. Click **Shortcut** and locate the **Target** box. At the **end** of the target, add a **space** then type `-pure_X -bYYYY`
6. Find the **server build** and **pure mode** the server runs on *(this is shown in the restart message when you try to join the server)*
7. Replace **X** with the pure mode you found (`0`, `1`, or `2`) and **YYYY** with the server build (`3095`, `2699`, `2944`, etc.)

Example: `"C:\Users\Axel\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.exe -pure_1 -b2699"` *(do not copy-paste — replace with your own values)*

<summary><strong>"TZ Loader has been updated!"</strong></summary>

1. Re-download TZ
2. Switch from canary / beta to the **release** version of FiveM
3. Reinstall TZX and FiveM if the issue persists

Re-download TZ.

<summary><strong>TZ not finding FiveM</strong></summary>

1. Uninstall **OneDrive**
2. Make sure FiveM is properly installed in **AppData**
3. Do **not** use a custom OS

<summary><strong>Can't enable 2FA</strong></summary>

This occurs when you verified your email using a different device than your PC. To resolve it, **skip** the 2FA activation during download by clicking the button in the bottom-right.

<summary><strong>Not injecting?</strong></summary>

1. Sync Windows time
2. Uninstall antivirus, all external anti-cheats, and OneDrive

<summary><strong>HWID mismatch — Spoofer</strong></summary>

Launch the Spoofer again — it will work.

<summary><strong>Error #0 — TZX Init Window</strong></summary>

1. **Install DirectX** — download from Microsoft's official [DirectX download page](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and confirm the latest version is active
2. **Update Graphics Drivers** — install the latest drivers for your GPU: [NVIDIA App](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/software/nvidia-app/) or [AMD Adrenalin](https://www.amd.com/en/products/software/adrenalin.html)
3. **Install Visual C++ Redistributables** — [TechPowerUp all-in-one package](/troubleshooting/common-fixes/install-runtimes.md)
4. **Restart your computer** after the above installs, then retry

<summary><strong>Error #1 — TZX Can't Resolve HWID</strong></summary>

1. Restart your computer to resolve temporary issues
2. Check that your hardware drivers are up to date ([DriversCloud](https://www.driverscloud.com/en))
3. Run the application as Administrator
4. Temporarily disable any security software to avoid interference

<summary><strong>Error #2 — Update TZX or check if it is not under maintenance</strong></summary>

1. Update TZX or check the status page to see if it's under maintenance
2. Use a VPN

<summary><strong>Error #3 — Can't Enable Privilege</strong></summary>

1. Switch to a Windows account with administrative rights
2. Right-click the application and select **"Run as administrator"**
3. Modify compatibility settings:
   * Right-click the application → **Properties**
   * Go to the **Compatibility** tab
   * Check **"Run this program as an administrator"**
4. Ensure User Account Control (UAC) isn't blocking the application

<summary><strong>Error #4 — Open TZX Before FiveM</strong></summary>

1. Close FiveM if it's running before launching TZX
2. Launch TZX first, then open FiveM to avoid process conflicts
3. Check background processes:
   * Open Task Manager (`Ctrl + Shift + Esc`)
   * End any FiveM-related processes
4. Restart your computer to close active processes

<summary><strong>Error #5 — Invalid Process</strong></summary>

1. Restart the game to reset the process
2. Verify game files via Steam — for FiveM, ensure all necessary files are intact
3. Update the game to the latest version
4. Disable recent mods or modifications that may cause compatibility issues
5. Ensure FiveM is launched with the required anti-cheat enabled

<summary><strong>Error #6 — Hooking Fails</strong></summary>

1. Ensure the application is compiled in **release** mode, not debug
2. Temporarily disable security software — some antivirus programs block hooking
3. Run the application with administrative privileges
4. Update the application to the latest version — it may include fixes for this issue

<summary><strong>Error #7 — Inaccessible Window TZX</strong></summary>

1. Log in with a Windows account that has administrative rights
2. Run the application as Administrator (right-click → **Run as administrator**)
3. Check [UAC settings](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/user-account-control-settings-d5b2046b-dcb8-54eb-f732-059f321afe18) to ensure UAC isn't blocking the window
4. Close unnecessary applications that may lock the target window

1. Open **Steam** before starting TZX
2. Make sure Steam is installed and updated
3. Log into your Steam account
4. Restart TZX after Steam is running

1. Close FiveM if it's running before launching TZX
2. Launch TZX first, then open FiveM to avoid process conflicts

   * End any FiveM-related processes
4. Restart your computer to close active processes

4. Reinstall TZX if needed
5. Check compatibility lists on the TZ Discord
6. Fully reinstall FiveM, including the installer

Uninstall **Vanguard**.

3. Restart FiveM and TZ
4. Ensure a stable internet connection

1. Use a compatible FiveM version
2. Switch from canary / beta to the **release** version
3. Reinstall TZX and FiveM if the issue remains

Join a different server with a higher build — **only builds above 2600** are supported.
