# redENGINE Lua Executor

#### This Document will guide you through the setup of **redENGINE Lua Executor**

This guide is divided into easy-to-follow sections to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

### Getting Started

Windows Defender will flag or delete the loader, so fully disable it **before** downloading anything.

First, turn off real-time protection so Defender doesn't delete DControl while you download it:

1. Search **"Virus & threat protection"** in your Windows search bar
2. Click **Manage settings**
3. Disable **all** settings here — including **Real-time protection**, **Cloud-delivered protection**, **Automatic sample submission**, and **Tamper Protection** (scroll down)

Then permanently disable Defender with **DControl**:

1. Download [DControl](https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=1tdso9fRwyVSartgvtIIrRtXarse3qsvi\&export=download\&authuser=0) (extraction password: **sordum**)
2. Extract the `.zip` — use [WinRAR](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) if needed
3. Right-click **`dControl.exe`** → select **Run as administrator**
4. Click **Disable Windows Defender** — the window turns **red** when Defender is off

<summary>Why DControl?</summary>

The settings you disabled in the first step turn themselves back on when you restart your computer. DControl completely disables Windows Defender so it **stays off** after a restart — without it, you would have to repeat these steps every time you want to use the cheat.

### Remove Other Anti-cheats

Uninstall the following if installed:

* **FACEIT Anti-Cheat**
* **Vanguard** (Valorant Anti-Cheat)

### Installing Required Files

These files are required for the cheat to operate correctly:

1. **Visual C++ Runtimes** — [download the All-in-One package](https://mega.nz/folder/WlQD0YyZ#raWJkl7EoGkmcpeHbIBLmw), extract it, then right-click **`install_all.bat`** → **Run as administrator**
2. **DirectX** — [download the DirectX End-User Runtime](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and run **`dxwebsetup.exe`**

### Download and set-up SteelSeries

[SteelSeries](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar) is required for the cheat to function. Please download and install [SteelSeries](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar) by clicking [here](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar).

**Close All Games and Launchers**

Before proceeding:

* Close all games and launchers (**Steam, Origin, Battle.net**, etc.)
* Disable all overlays:
  * Discord
  * GeForce Experience
  * MSI Afterburner
  * MedalTV
  * Any other background overlays

### Download Loader

* Create an account on <https://redengine.eu/signup>, then go to the client area, click the "**Redeem**" button, and enter your key.
* After redeeming your key, click the "**Download**" button in your client area, then extract the folder to your desktop.

### Injection Process

**Step-by-Step Injection**

1. Open Steam & FiveM.
2. Open redENGINE and inject it, wait about 10–30 seconds in FiveM, then press **INSERT** or **F11** to verify that redENGINE injected correctly.
3. After injecting redENGINE, join any FiveM server. Once you have passed the loading screen and spawned, you can use redENGINE and have fun!

**To reduce the risk of your account and HWID being banned**, it is highly recommended to use an HWID spoofer.

## Having Troubles?

<summary><strong>Launcher closes after "Requesting Injection"</strong></summary>

Remove the `settings.cock` file from the program folder and retry injection.

<summary><strong>Launcher won't open</strong></summary>

* Move the program from OneDrive or any symbolic-path folder to your **C:** drive
* Right-click the launcher → **Run compatibility troubleshooter** → try the recommended options

<summary><strong>Nothing happens when opening the launcher</strong></summary>

* Ensure the launcher location doesn't contain special characters
* Relocate it to the **C:** drive root

<summary><strong>"This version of the game is not supported"</strong></summary>

Reinstall FiveM — it requires `adhesive.dll` in the FiveM files.

<details>

<summary><strong>Menu not appearing (F11 / INSERT keys)</strong></summary>

1. Navigate to your **GTA V folder**
2. Open `imgui.ini`, delete all contents, and save
3. Restart GTA V and redENGINE
4. Enable Steam overlay

<summary><strong>Game crashes after "Fix Blinking"</strong></summary>

* Restart FiveM and redENGINE
* Press **Fix Blinking** both before AND after menu injection
* If unresolved: remove custom resolutions, ReShade, and modified citizens
* Avoid repeatedly clicking the Fix Blinking button

<summary><strong>Connection timeout error</strong></summary>

Your ISP or an installed application is blocking the connection. Enable a **VPN** (e.g. NordVPN).

* Verify your internet is stable

* Verify GTA V and Windows files
* Restart FiveM before reinjecting
* Try injection via the server list
* Remove graphics packs

<summary><strong>Massive Fail #41 (Stage 5)</strong></summary>

* Delete `settings.cock` in the redENGINE folder
* Verify GTA files
* Run Windows verification: open CMD as Admin and run `sfc /scannow`

<summary><strong>Injection Failed (Stage 12)</strong></summary>

* Disable exploit protection and antivirus / firewall
* Switch FiveM to the **Release** version
* Windows 11 users: downgrade to a stable Win11 version or move to Windows 10

* Rename your FiveM executable to `FiveM.exe` (not `FiveM(1).exe`)
* Ensure `FiveM.exe` is located on the **C:** drive

**Virtual machines are not supported** with redENGINE. Run on physical hardware only.
