# Progress

#### This Document will guide you through the setup of **Progress**

This guide is divided into easy-to-follow sections to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

### Getting Started

Windows Defender will flag or delete the loader, so fully disable it **before** downloading anything.

First, turn off real-time protection so Defender doesn't delete DControl while you download it:

1. Search **"Virus & threat protection"** in your Windows search bar
2. Click **Manage settings**
3. Disable **all** settings here — including **Real-time protection**, **Cloud-delivered protection**, **Automatic sample submission**, and **Tamper Protection** (scroll down)

Then permanently disable Defender with **DControl**:

1. Download [DControl](https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=1tdso9fRwyVSartgvtIIrRtXarse3qsvi\&export=download\&authuser=0) (extraction password: **sordum**)
2. Extract the `.zip` — use [WinRAR](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) if needed
3. Right-click **`dControl.exe`** → select **Run as administrator**
4. Click **Disable Windows Defender** — the window turns **red** when Defender is off

<summary>Why DControl?</summary>

The settings you disabled in the first step turn themselves back on when you restart your computer. DControl completely disables Windows Defender so it **stays off** after a restart — without it, you would have to repeat these steps every time you want to use the cheat.

### Remove Other Anti-cheats

Uninstall the following if installed:

* **FACEIT Anti-Cheat**
* **Vanguard** (Valorant Anti-Cheat)

### Installing Required Files

These files are required for the cheat to operate correctly:

1. **Visual C++ Runtimes** — [download the All-in-One package](https://mega.nz/folder/WlQD0YyZ#raWJkl7EoGkmcpeHbIBLmw), extract it, then right-click **`install_all.bat`** → **Run as administrator**
2. **DirectX** — [download the DirectX End-User Runtime](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and run **`dxwebsetup.exe`**

### Download Loader

### Injection Process

**Step-by-Step Injection**

1. Open the loader
2. Register an account or log in to an existing account

3. Select your game

4. Enable/Disable Spoofing if you need it

5. Click Start System to inject

6. Once it says "Waiting for game", open the game and the cheat will be injected

7. The in-game menu opens with the insert key. Enjoy!

## Having Troubles?

<details>

<summary><strong>Timeout was reached / Loader closes after launch with an error</strong></summary>

1. **Delete the current loader** — completely remove the old loader before downloading a new one
2. **Sync your system time**
   * Go to Windows Settings → Date & Time
   * Click **Sync now**
3. **Clear Temp files**
   * Press `Win + R`, type `%temp%`, press Enter
   * Delete all files inside the folder
4. **Ensure all previous loaders are removed** — if you've downloaded multiple versions, delete the old ones
5. **Download the latest loader** — use the official loader link from the download step above
6. **Download the fix file**

7. **Run the fix file as Administrator** — open it, run as admin, wait for the process to complete, then close the fix file
8. **Run the loader as Administrator** — follow the startup instructions and check if the issue is resolved

After following these steps, the problem should be fully fixed and the loader should work without issues.

<summary><strong>Failed to Connect error</strong></summary>

1. **Download the fix file**

2. Extract the file using **WinRAR** or any extraction tool
3. **Delete the old `etc` folder and replace it with the new one**
   * Open File Explorer
   * Navigate to: `C:\Windows\System32\drivers\`
   * Find the folder named **`etc`** and delete it
   * Inside the extracted fix file, you'll find another folder named **`etc`** — **do not open it**, just copy the entire folder
   * Paste the `etc` folder into `C:\Windows\System32\drivers\` (the same directory you deleted it from)
4. **Restart your PC** and try running the cheat again

If followed correctly, this will fully resolve the issue.
