# Kernaim

#### This Document will guide you through the setup of **Kernaim Arma Reforger**

This guide is divided into easy-to-follow sections to ensure a smooth and successful setup.

### Getting Started

Windows Defender will flag or delete the loader, so fully disable it **before** downloading anything.

First, turn off real-time protection so Defender doesn't delete DControl while you download it:

1. Search **"Virus & threat protection"** in your Windows search bar
2. Click **Manage settings**
3. Disable **all** settings here — including **Real-time protection**, **Cloud-delivered protection**, **Automatic sample submission**, and **Tamper Protection** (scroll down)

Then permanently disable Defender with **DControl**:

1. Download [DControl](https://drive.usercontent.google.com/download?id=1tdso9fRwyVSartgvtIIrRtXarse3qsvi\&export=download\&authuser=0) (extraction password: **sordum**)
2. Extract the `.zip` — use [WinRAR](https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?\&L=0) if needed
3. Right-click **`dControl.exe`** → select **Run as administrator**
4. Click **Disable Windows Defender** — the window turns **red** when Defender is off

<summary>Why DControl?</summary>

The settings you disabled in the first step turn themselves back on when you restart your computer. DControl completely disables Windows Defender so it **stays off** after a restart — without it, you would have to repeat these steps every time you want to use the cheat.

### Remove Other Anti-cheats

Uninstall the following if installed:

* **FACEIT Anti-Cheat**
* **Vanguard** (Valorant Anti-Cheat)

### Installing Required Files

These files are required for the cheat to operate correctly:

1. **Visual C++ Runtimes** — [download the All-in-One package](https://mega.nz/folder/WlQD0YyZ#raWJkl7EoGkmcpeHbIBLmw), extract it, then right-click **`install_all.bat`** → **Run as administrator**
2. **DirectX** — [download the DirectX End-User Runtime](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and run **`dxwebsetup.exe`**

### Download and set-up SteelSeries

[SteelSeries](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar) is required for the cheat to function. Please download and install [SteelSeries](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar) by clicking [here](https://steelseries.com/gg/sonar).

**Close All Games and Launchers**

Before proceeding:

* Close all games and launchers (**Steam, Origin, Battle.net**, etc.)
* Disable all overlays:
  * Discord
  * GeForce Experience
  * MSI Afterburner
  * MedalTV
  * Any other background overlays

### Download Loader

* Download the **Kernaim Loader**

### Injection Process

**Step-by-Step Injection**

1. Open the loader as **Administrator**
2. Log in using your **license key**
3. Click **Start** and wait for the **success popup**
4. The loader will close automatically
5. Start your launcher, then open the game
6. Set the game display mode to **Borderless** or **Windowed**
7. Use insert on your keyboard to open and close the menu

**To reduce the risk of your account and HWID being banned**, it is highly recommended to use a HWID spoofer.

## Having Troubles?

<details>

<summary><strong>Menu does not show / randomly disappears / black screen</strong></summary>

* Follow the essential requirements in the setup steps above
* Set the game to **Borderless** or **Windowed** mode instead of Fullscreen
* Disable any other overlays — NVIDIA GeForce, Discord, Medal, etc.
* Try pressing **F1** before clicking **START** on the loader to enable Injection Compatibility Mode

Only after completing all the steps above should you consider a fresh Windows reinstallation. If you do, reinstall **from a USB stick** (not from Windows Settings) — you can keep your files. We do **not** support modified Windows installations (custom ISO) — download the official Windows ISO from Microsoft.

<details>

<summary><strong>Menu appears but ESP / visuals don't work</strong></summary>

Start by **restarting your computer** and **re-injecting** the cheat. This fixes the issue in most cases.

If the menu is visible but other cheat features still don't work, the problem is usually one of two things:

* **RAM Paging Problem:** if your PC has **16 GB of RAM or less**, your system's memory might get paged (swapped) to your hard drive. The cheat can't access paged memory. Upgrade to at least **32 GB** or **64 GB**.
* **Outdated Cheat:** in rare cases, the cheat might be out of date. Check the status page at [ssz.gg/status](https://ssz.gg/status) and join the Discord for real-time updates.

Avoid using **RamCleaner** with **Escape from Tarkov (EFT)** — it interferes with the ESP and prevents it from displaying properly.

<details>

<summary><strong>Menu appears but you can't click anything or change settings</strong></summary>

Make sure you are **NOT** running your game or launcher as Administrator. Launchers like Steam, Origin, and Epic Games Launcher should not have admin privileges.

To turn this off:

1. Find the launcher or game `.exe` file
2. Right-click it and choose **Properties**
3. Go to the **Compatibility** tab
4. Make sure **"Run this program as an administrator"** is unchecked

After disabling, restart the launcher and try again.

<details>

<summary><strong>Connection error / infinite loading</strong></summary>

Usually means your connection cannot reach our servers.

**1. Try a different internet connection**

Some internet providers may block or restrict access. Before anything else:

* Restart your router
* Switch to a different network (mobile hotspot, another Wi-Fi)
* If the issue persists, continue with the steps below

**2. Try a VPN**

In some regions, access to our servers may be limited. Our servers are in Europe, so if you're connecting from regions like mainland China, a VPN is often required.

* Recommended: **Cloudflare WARP** (free) — see [Set Up a VPN](/troubleshooting/common-fixes/set-up-a-vpn.md)
* If WARP doesn't help, try **Urban VPN** — <https://install.urban-vpn.com/UrbanVPN.exe> — connect to UK servers first; if that fails, try any European server. Once you get a success message, click OK then disconnect from the VPN.

**3. Change VPN location**

If you're already using a VPN and still getting infinite loading:

* Switch to a different server location
* Try several regions until the loader connects successfully

VPNs can sometimes route traffic through congested or restricted nodes — changing location often resolves the issue.

**4. Check for local network restrictions**

School, work, and public networks often block certain traffic.

* Try switching to a personal / home connection
* Temporarily disable any local firewall or network filtering software and test again

**5. If the problem continues**

Contact support and include:

* Your region / country
* Whether you used a VPN
* Any error messages you received
